Suspended Kerala IAS officer Prasanth N (IAS:2007:KL) is in the news again. He has shot off another letter to Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan (IAS:1990:KL) asking for access to digital files as part of furnishing a reply to the memo served against him.
Prasanth was recently placed under suspension for allegedly making derogatory comments against Additional Chief Secretary A Jayathilak (IAS:1991:KL) through social media posts.
This is not the first time that Prasanth has asked for clarifications. He had earlier sought clarification from the Chief Secretary after he was issued a charge memo following his suspension. He had posed several questions and sought reasons for his suspension in the letter.
In his latest missive, he says that he is being denied access to the original digital material.
Prasanth had requested access to the digital material, saying that it was relied upon for initiating disciplinary proceedings against him.
According to him, the screenshot copies enclosed in the memo are digitally altered.
