Suspended Kerala IAS officer N Prasanth (IAS:2007:KL) seems to be on a warpath against his seniors. Despite being suspended for making derogatory remarks against Additional Chief Secretary A Jayathilak (IAS:1991:KL), he is undeterred. In a fresh salvo, he has slapped legal notices on Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan (IAS:1990:KL), Jayathilak and former industries director K Gopalakrishnan, demanding suspension of Jayathilak and Gopalakrishnan and a public apology from them.

Interestingly, Gopalakrishnan is already under suspension for creating WhatsApp group with religious overtone on Diwali that sparked off a storm in the state.

Prasanth has had a standing feud with Jayathilak and Gopalkrishnan, but he has grudge against the Chief Secretary as well, as he accuses her of not taking action against these officials even as he brought the matter to her notice. He alleged that the letters sent by his predecessor at Unnathi, IAS officer Gopalakrishnan, to Jayathilak were manipulated ones to falsely implicate him.

Prasanth accused Jayathilak of fabricating documents against him with regard to allegedly misplacing some files and manipulating attendance by faking outside duties while heading the Unnathi initiative for welfare of people from the SC and ST communities. Prasanth’s belligerence does not stop here. He has also served the legal notice on a Malayalam daily that carried the news reports of the alleged lapses on the part of Prasanth.
