Surjith Karthikeyan (IES:2010), Deputy Secretary in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), has undergone a re-designation and is now designated as Director within the same Department. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Thursday (22.02.2024), confirming the approval of the competent authority for the proposed re-designation by the DFS. This re-designation is approved for a specified period, extending up to 26.04.2026 i.e total tenure of five years under the central staffing scheme.
It is worth noting that Surjith Karthikeyan commenced his central deputation tenure on April 27, 2021.
