Subhash Kumar re-designated as Director in Ministry of Defence

Subhash Kumar (IDAS:2011), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, has been re-designated as Director. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (26.12.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate Kumar’s post to Director level with effect from January 1, 2025, or the date he assumes charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period upto April 27, 2028 i.e. total tenure of five years under the central staffing scheme.

It is noteworthy that Subhash Kumar commenced his central deputation tenure on April 28, 2023.
