Rashmi Shukla (IPS:1988:MH), currently serving as the Director General (DG) of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), has been accorded the Apex Pay Scale at Level-17 in the pay matrix. This development was confirmed through an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday, dated October 18, 2023. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted its approval to the proposal presented by the Ministry of Home Affairs, thereby ensuring the immediate implementation of the Apex Pay Scale for Ms. Shukla.
