The deputation tenure of S Suresh (IPS:1995:KL) as Inspector General (IG) in Special Protection Group (SPG) has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the tenure of Suresh for a period of one year beyond 08.03.2022 in relaxation of the IPS tenure.
