Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagwan (IPS:2015:KN) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (01.10.2024), the competent authority has approved the induction of Mr Bhagwan to the post for a period of five years or until further orders whichever is earlier.
