Somanath Shivarudrappa Ukkali (IRS-IT:2004) has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of HMT Ltd., Bengaluru, for a term of three years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (09.02.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Ukkali to the post. The designated term is effective from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders are issued, whichever occurs earlier.
