The central deputation tenure of Smita Sarangi (IAS:2008:NL) as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (17.02.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend deputation tenure of Ms. Sarangi under Central Staffing Scheme for a period of two years beyond 29.07.2023 and up to 29.07.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
