SKG Rahate (IAS:1990:JH), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, has been given additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of REC Limited. He has been given additional responsibilities for a period of three months with effect from February 22, 2022. Previously, Sanjay Malhotra (IAS:1990:RJ) was serving as CMD of REC Limited.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Power issued on February 22, Rahate will look after the work of CMD of REC Limited with effect from February 22, 2022, in addition to his current responsibilities, for a period of three months or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
