Senior diplomat Sibi George (IFS:1993) has been appointed as the next Indian ambassador to Japan. He will replace Sanjay Kumar Verma (IFS:1988) as India’s envoy to Japan. Presently, George is serving as the Ambassador of India to Kuwait and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
