Senior IAS officer Shantmanu (IAS:1991:AGMUT) was on Friday (29.11.2024) repatriated to parent cadre at the request of Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday (29.11.2024). Presently, he is serving as Additional Secretary & Finance Advisor in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), ” The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved repatriation of Shri Shantmanu, lAS (AGMUT:91), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution to his parent cadre on the request of Ministry of Home Affairs. “
His name has been circulating in the power corridors, but there is uncertainty about his next assignment.
