Senior IAS officer Shantmanu posted to J&K segment of AGMUT cadre

Senior IAS officer Shantmanu (IAS:1991:AGMUT) was on Tuesday (17.12.2024) posted to the Jammu and Kashmir segment of AGMUT cadre with immediate effect and until further orders. He was recently repatriated to parent AGMUT cadre from central deputation, where he served as Additional Secretary & Finance Advisor in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.

According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the period from the date of his joining the cadre on December 12, 2024, to the date of issue of the MHA order (December 17, 2024) will be treated as ‘awaiting posting.’
