Deepti Umashankar (IAS:1993:HY), on Thursday, relieved by the Haryana government and placed at the disposal of Government of India for appointment as Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, Govt. of India with effect from 31.05.2021. Presently. she was serving as Principal Secretary, Monitoring & Coordination Department, Commissioner, Ambala Division, Ambala and Chairperson, Haryana State Pollution Control Board.
