M. Maheshwar Rao (IAS:1995:KN), currently serving as the Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser in the Department of Space, is set to return to his parent cadre. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Tuesday (26.12.2023), announcing the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet for Mr. Rao’s repatriation. The move follows a formal request from the Karnataka government, with the imposition of an extended cooling-off period.
