The Narendra Modi government on Friday effected a minor bureaucratic reshuffle at Secretary level.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Rajesh Bhushan (IAS:1987:BH) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare upon demiting of office by the present incumbent, Ms Preeti Sudan (IAS:1983:AP) on 31.07.2020. Presently, he is serving as Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare.
- Ajay Tirkey (IAS:1987:MP) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development upon superannuation of Ruolkhumlien Buhril (IAS:1984:TN) on 31.07.2020. Presently, he is serving as Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development.
- Ram Mohan Mishra (IAS:1987:AM) has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development vice Ajay Tirkey (IAS:1987:MP) upon his appointment as Secretary, Department of Land Resources. Presently, he is Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
- Sushil Kumar (IAS:1987:TR) has been appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment vice Ram Mohan Mishra (IAS:1987:AM) upon his appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development. Presently, he is Secretary, Ministry of Mines.
