Ministry of Science and Technology Secretary Srivari Chandrasekhar has quit his position and will be returning to the Council of Scientific and Industrial and Research (CSIR).
“The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved premature repatriation of Dr Srivari Chandrasekhar, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology to his parent organisation, i.e. CSIR on 10.7.2023 on personal grounds,” a note from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet dated June 16 read.
Dr. Chandrasekhar took charge of the post of DST on December 2021. He will remain Secretary of the Department until July 10 this year.
