The Supreme Court Collegium has remitted the name of Advocate Krishnendu Datta from proposed elevation to the Delhi High Court. The Collegium comprising of CJI Ranjan Gogoi, Justice SA Bobde and Justice NV Ramana also deferred the recommendation to appoint Advocate Saurabh Kirpal as a judge.
These names were proposed by the Collegium of the Delhi High Court on 13th October, 2017 along with seven other lawyers. The SC collegium had deferred the consideration regarding these names.
