The Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday (24.09.2024) recommended Justice Narendar G of the Andhra Pradesh High Court to be appointed as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court. He will replace incumbent Chief Justice Ritu Bahri, who is set to retire on October 10.
He was appointed as a Judge of the Karnataka High Court of on January 2, 2015, later Justice Narendar was transferred to the Andhra Pradesh High Court on October 30, 2023 and he has been functioning there since then. He is the senior-most Judge in his parent High Court of Karnataka.
