The Supreme Court Collegium on Thursday (06.03.2025) recommended the appointment of Justice Harish Tandon, a Judge of Calcutta High Court, as the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court.
The recommendation was made to fill the Vacancy that has emerged following the retirement of Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh on January 19.
Justice Harish Tandon was appointed as a Judge of Calcutta High Court on April 13, 2010.
Justice Tandon graduated in law from Calcutta University in 1983. He then extensively practised in Calcutta High Court after he was enrolled as an advocate in 1989.
