SC Collegium recommends Judges’ appointment in four High Courts

In a significant move, the Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting on December 22, 2024, approved the elevation of Judicial Officers and Advocates to judgeship in the Allahabad, Bombay, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand High Courts.

In a significant move, the Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting on December 22, 2024, approved the elevation of Judicial Officers and Advocates to judgeship in the Allahabad, Bombay, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand High Courts. Three Judicial Officers were recommended as judges for the Rajasthan High Court, one Judicial Officer for the Uttarakhand High Court, and one Advocate each for the Bombay and Allahabad High Courts.

They are:

Rajasthan High Court:

  1. Chandra Shekhar Sharma (Judicial Officer)
  2. Pramil Kumar Mathur (Judicial Officer)
  3. Chandra Prakash Shrimali (Judicial Officer)

Uttarakhand High Court:

  1. Ashish Naithani (Judicial Officer)

Bombay High Court:

  1. Pravin Sheshrao Patil (Advocate)

Allahabad High Court:

  1. Praveen Kumar Giri (Advocate)
