SC Collegium recommends elevation of two HC Judges as Chief Justices

The Supreme Court Collegium on Thursday proposed the elevation of two High Court judges as Chief Justices.

  1. Justice Mohammad Rafiq of the Rajasthan High Court has been proposed to be elevated as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court.
  2. Justice (Dr.) Ravi Ranjan of the Punjab and Haryana High Court has been recommended for appointment as the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court.
