SC Collegium recommends elevation of 5 Advocates as Judges at three High Courts

The Supreme Court Collegium on Friday recommended elevation of five Advocates as Judges in different High Courts.

The three advocates recommended for elevation as Judges in Madhya Pradesh High Court are Dr. Vivek Sharan, Nidhi Patankar and Pranay Verma. The Court also recommended elevation of one advocate each as judge of Punjab & Haryana High Court and Jammu & Kashmir High Court.

While Vikas Bahl has been recommended for elevation to Punjab & Haryana High Court, Rahul Bharti has been recommended for Jammu & Kashmir High Court.
