Sanjeev Chopra (IAS:1990:OR), Secretary of Department of Food and Public Distribution, has been given additional charge of Secretary of Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (29.06.2024), the competent authority has approved assignment additional charge of the post upon repatriation of incumbent Manoj Ahuja (IAS:1990:OR) and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
