Senior diplomat Sanjay Verma (IFS:1990) was appointed as Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday (19.02.2022), replacing Ms. Reenat Sandhu (IFS:1989), who has been appointed as Ambassador of India, Netherlands. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Verma served as Officer on Special Duty (International Organisation), MEA.
