Sanjay Kumar Panigrahi selected as MD of Jute Corporation of India

Sanjay Kumar Panigrahi has been selected for appointment as of Managing Director (MD), The Jute Corporation of India Limited (JCI) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on June 17, 2025. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager (Marketing), The Cotton Corporation Of India Limited.

Following his selection, the PESB has recommended his name to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). Upon receiving the necessary vigilance clearances and ACC approval, Sanjay Kumar Panigrahi will be formally appointed to the post of Managing Director.
