Sanjay Kumar Moitra, Executive Director, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has been appointed to the post of Director (Onshore), ONGC for a period of five years.Moitra will replace V P Mahawar who retired in February this year.
The government’s head-hunter Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Sanjay Kumar Moitra for the post of Director (Onshore) after interviewing six candidates from the company including three Executive Directors-A J Morbale, Suresh Jandial and Anand Mohan -and two Group General Managers (GGMs) V K Mahendru and Narendra Asija.
Moitra is a Mechanical Engineer from Jabalpur University and has completed a course in Advanced Management from Cambridge University in UK. He had joined ONGC in 1982 and has held multiple key position at the company over the last 35 years.
