The central deputation tenure of Sanjay Awasthi (IRS-IT:1989) as Joint Secretary in Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, has been extended. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (19.04.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Awasthi beyond 22.05.2022 till his superannuation i.e. up to 31.03.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
