Ubhap Sengraj (IRS-C&CE:2005), who has been serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), New Delhi, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (January 29, 2025), the competent authority approved his premature repatriation on personal grounds, with the provision of extended cooling-off.
Ubhap Sengraj has been holding the CVO post since August 8, 2021. He was initially appointed for a tenure of three years. In July 2024, his tenure was extended by two years, up to August 8, 2026. However, he has now been repatriated before completion of the extended term.
