Tenure of Saheli Ghosh Roy (CSS) as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has been extended for six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (07.01.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Ms. Roy for a period of six months beyond 30.11.2024 till the date of her superannuation i.e. 31.05.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
