The central deputation tenure of Sagar Yadav (CSS) as Joint Secretary in Department of Fisheries has been extended till his retirement. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (January 8, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Fisheries to extend the deputation tenure of Mehra for a period beyond March 10, 2026 till the date of his superannuation i.e. upto June 30, 2026, whichever is earlier.
