The tenure of Sagar Mehra (CSS) as Joint Secretary in the Department of Fisheries has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (26.03.2024) the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Fisheries to extend the deputation tenure of Mehra for a period of two years beyond 10.03.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
