Sachin Shinde (IAS:2008:AGMUT) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Earth Sciences for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (10.06.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to appoint Mr. Shinde to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
