S Suresh gets one year extension as IG, SPG

The deputation tenure of S Suresh (IPS:1995:KL) as Inspector General (IG), Special Protection Group (SPG), has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (07.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Suresh for a period of one year beyond 08.03.2023.
