S Sharad Rao appointed Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Steel

S Sharad Rao (IOFS:2011), who was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Defence Production, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Steel, Delhi. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on Thursday (07.11.2024), the competent authority has approved appointment of Mr. Rao to the post under central staffing scheme for a period upto 19.06.2026 (i.e. combined tenure of four years on ex-cadre and CSS posts put together at Deputy Secretary level).
