S S Deswal (IPS:1984:HY) has been appointed as Director General of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).He is at present the DG of Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB).The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Deswal’s appointments till his superannuation on August 31,2021.
