IPS officer S R Saravanan (IPS:2000:NL) has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday (03.05.2023), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Saravanan to the post for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
