RK Gupta gets extension as Deputy Election Commissioner till June 30

RK Gupta (Retd CSS officer) has been granted further extension in his re-employment with the Election Commission of India (ECI) as Deputy Election Commissioner (JS level) till June 30, 2024. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (31.05.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Election Commission of India to extend the tenure of RK Gupta on contract basis for a period upto June 30, 2024 or until further orders.
