Retired IPS officer Dr Lalit Das (IPS:1992:OR) was on Tuesday (22.10.2024) appointed as the Chairman of the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC).
Lalit Das was promoted to the rank of Special DG of Police in March 2024 and retired from service on July 31. He also served as the Chief of Human Rights Protection for Odisha.
Besides, the state government also appointed retired IAS officer Dr. Uddhaba Chandra Majhi and retired OAS officer Saroj Kumar Mishra as Members of the OSSSC.
