Rajit Kumar Pachnanda (Retd.IPS:1983:WB) on Thursday appointed as Chairman of the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC). Former Director-General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) will succeed Manbir singh who has retired.
Pachnanda will be first IPS officer to head the constitutional body mandated to make recruitments to gazetted posts, including the prestigious Haryana Civil Srevices.
