Senior diplomat Reenat Sandhu (IFS:1989) was on Wednesday appointed as Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Presently, she is Officer on Special Duty (IP, South and Oceania) in the ministry.
She will take over the charge from Vikas Swarup (IFS:1986), who superannuates on June 30.
