Senior IPS officer Ravi Sinha (IPS:1988:CG), PSO, Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat (SR), has been appointed as Secretary, Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) for a period of two years. He will replace Samant Kumar Goel (IPS:1984:PB) on his tenure ending 30.06.2023.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (19.06.2023), the Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Sinha to the post for a period of two years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
