Ravi Shankar (IFS:1995) has been appointed as Joint Secretary-cum-Social Secretary to the President of India for a period co-terminus with the term of the President or until further orders. He replaces Randhir Kumar Jaiswal (IFS:1998).
Presently, he is working as Joint Secretary (MER), Ministry of External Affairs.
