Senior IPS officer Rashmi Shukla (IPS:1988:MH) has been appointed as the Director-General of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (02.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to appoint Ms. Shukla to the post from the date of joining
the post and up to 30.06.2024 i.e. date of her superannuation or till further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, she is serving as Additional Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
