In significant development, the Modi government has appointed Ramesh Krishnamurthi (IRS-IT:1992) as Central Provident Fund Commissioner in Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (25.10.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Krishnamurthi to the post of Central Provident Fund Commissioner, EPFO.
Currently, Ramesh Krishnamurthi is serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Labour & Employment.
