Ram Dayal Meena to continue in MHA as Director till 2028

The central deputation tenure of Ram Dayal Meena (IOFS:2004) as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has been extended by two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (March 20, 2026), the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of MHA to extend his tenure for a period of two years beyond August 30, 2026 and up to August 30, 2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
