Rakesh Kumar Singh (IDAS:1993), Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has received an extension of his central deputation tenure. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (August 21, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of his tenure beyond December 8, 2025, until his superannuation on May 31, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
