Rakesh Kumar Singh gets extension as Additional Secretary in MHA

The central deputation tenure of Rakesh Kumar Singh (IDAS:1993) as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has been extended for one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (07.12.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Mr Singh for a period of one year beyond 08.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
