Rakesh Kumar Sahay has been appointed as Director (Finance), of Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL). Presently, he is serving as Chief Manager (Finance), BCCL.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (13.04.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Coal to appoint Mr Sahay to the post of Director (Finance), BCCL from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his Superannuation i.e. 31.08.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
A selection meeting of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) was held on December 7, 2022, during which the board interviewed 8 applicants and recommended Rakesh Kumar Sahay for the position of Director (Finance), BCCL.
