The Modi government on Wednesday (28.08.2024) appointed Rajneesh Narang as the interim Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) for three months, effective from September 1. He replaces Pushp Kumar Joshi, who is set to retire on August 31.
Narang is serving as Director (Finance) in the company and will hold the additional charge of the post of CMD till appointment of a regular incumbent.
